I’ve been a carpenter since 1997, and I started Epoch in 2004 after working for a couple of amazing builders in Seattle. Notably, I had the unique opportunity to work at Dovetail under the tutelage of a couple master carpenters who instilled in me a knowledge and deep respect for the craft and process of building. Those master carpenters are a part of my network to this day and being part of a highly talented, experienced network of craftspeople provides access to a wealth of invaluable building knowledge which is applied to every EPOCH Builders project. I love being a carpenter and I am onsite most every day working and guiding the building process. Epoch Builders is only one crew and one project under construction at a time, so our full attention will be on your project. I have a BA in Sustainable Building & Business, and I’m also a Certified Passive House Builder. At Epoch we take pride in building your vision and delivering your project on time and on budget. Epoch Builders is based in Independence Valley—just south of Olympia, but we’ve worked all over western Washington.
